This project is focused on waste diversion of textiles from landfills and waterbodies by promoting donations to local charities, consolidating excess textile for easy transportation for sorting. In the textile recycling industry, this is the starting point of being able to extend the life of textiles or even give them a brand new life!
This project is a partnership with the University of Manitoba aiming to break down textiles using non-harmful chemicals. As a result, this recovers the virgin material that was used to create the clothing.
This project will be ground-breaking in our continuous search for sustainable fashion.
