Winnipeg Textile Recycling (WTR) is a Winnipeg-owned and operated socially and environmentally conscious start-up company formed to promote and facilitate the practical scalable implementation of the circular textile economy. We promote reduce, reuse, recreate and rebuild to avoid textiles ending up in landfills.

In addition to aiding environmental sustainability, we aim to create jobs for visible minorities and people with disabilities by providing low-barrier employment to diverse groups of people when we launch projects.

We work with charities, non-profits, local municipalities, property developers and managers to implement sustainable textile surplus & waste solutions that create a win-win scenario by diverting waste from landfills, generating revenue for stakeholders and creating employment for people in our community!
